Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the 2014-2015 Wrestling season! I will be sharing information that will be beneficial to the wrestling program.

A big congratulation to Justin Freyermuth & Michael Alberghini for taking first place win at the sectional tournament in there weight division,

Both young men made it to D2 state championships & Justin Freyermuth took the first place win in his division. Justin & Michael will both be competing at the state wrestling championships.

I was at the tournament today and I understand the varsity wrestlers are important but I was very dissappointed to see the jv wrestlers left to fend for themselves with no direction or coaching going on on there behalf because both coaches that were there were focused on varsity ! It was very upsetting to see them struggle looking rapping for guidance and there was none ! Hope this improves so the jv can become just as successful as varsity!

    1. Hi Danielle,
      I am not a coach on the team but will pass this on for next years season. I just post things up & post some photos I have been taken threw the season.
      I totally understand where you coming from. I am sorry you were disappointed. My son started this program as a freshman not knowing if he would like it & it turned out to be on of his favorite sports. It is a great program & a very different sport than any for sure but I hope your wrestler will want to come back next year. I will be sure the coaches are aware of this situation for sure and sorry for the lack of focus.

    1. Yes I am working in updating this blog. To be honest I was hearing not a lot of people where looking at this & in the beginning of the season I spent a lot of time learning how to use & make the blog better. I added more thing then there was last year to make it more user friendly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks for a fabulous year. Brendan might not have won a lot of matches but he always had fun.
    Thanks to the coaches for offering support and encouragement.
    Thanks to the fellow wrestlers for never failing to stand behind a struggling freshman–especially Bobby Dee.
    And thanks to Kristen for making all the wrestlers look awesome even in their losses. Your pictures really highlight each wrestler.
